History Of C2 Tactical

C2 Tactical was born from founder Vincent “Vince” Vasquez’s passion for shooting sports. After purchasing and later selling Caswells Shooting Range in Mesa, Vasquez left his brokerage career and, in 2013, opened the doors to his own indoor facility in Tempe. From the beginning, he set out “to grow that customer experience… take everything to the next level,” building a clean, modern range designed for every level of shooter.

From its Tempe launch, C2 Tactical’s indoor ranges featured climate-controlled lanes, programmable action target carriers, and quiet backstops for suppressed shooting. That focus on comfort and cutting-edge technology helped draw a remarkably diverse crowd: more than 40 percent of walk-in guests had never fired a weapon before, and membership numbers more than doubled within a few years. Alongside public walk-ins, C2 forged partnerships with law-enforcement and military groups and even teamed with Arizona State University’s criminal justice program to offer specialized training. Building on Tempe’s success, Vasquez expanded in April 2018 with a second location on the north Phoenix–Scottsdale border bringing the same high-end amenities, expert courses, and welcoming atmosphere to East Valley shooters. Both facilities continue to host NRA-certified courses ranging from introductory pistol and shotgun classes to advanced tactical and concealed-carry programs.

As the business continued to grow so did the team. With two thriving locations and a third three-story, 33 KSF facility with VIP areas, 35 lanes, retail, gunsmithing, classrooms, and long-range tunnels, C2 Tactical has cemented its reputation as Arizona’s premier shooting and training destination.
